Our portfolio of Pre-sessional English for Academic Purposes (PSE) courses in the UK and China supports your English language development and comprehensively prepares you to immerse yourself within the academic context of art, design and media before joining your foundation, undergraduate or postgraduate course. Our PSE courses will help you to raise your English language level to meet the entry requirements of your main course.

What can you expect from the Pre-sessional English (PSE) courses?
Our PSE courses help you explore and advance the specialist creative arts vocabulary and communication skills required at university level, quickly and effectively.
In your class, there will be students progressing onto various main courses, but you will follow an individual plan tailored to your subject specialism. You will have a chance to expand your main course subject knowledge via study trips, lectures, seminars and personalised tutorials as well as talks from guest speakers.
